Bravo Packing Investigation

An undercover investigation by Amanda Sorvino and Ellen-Cathryn Nash exposes a serial horse killer named Monty Merola. His horse slaughter plant, Bravo Packing, has been protected and hidden by the corrupt politics of a small town in Salem County, NJ for the past 20 years.

Make sure you are not eating while watching this ... Merola, a convicted sex offender, who is not licensed to bear or operate firearms, confesses in detail to the violent and sickening horse murders he has committed and is still committing.

And yes, that is a container of ketchup on the slaughterhouse chopping counter. As Monty proudly admits, "I'm busy eating a sandwich with one hand and grinding horsemeat with the other."

This is a must-see for all animal rights activists and horse advocates.

Based on the year long investigation of Bravo Packing by Amanda Sorvino and support by Ellen-Cathryn Nash this footage is jaw-dropping. Merola has been charged with two felony counts of animal cruelty.

The Bravo Packing case remains ongoing and a grand jury trail is expected in the ensuing months. Currently Bravo is still open for business, and is receiving large numbers of thoroughbred racehorses due to the racetracks' success at bypassing the zero tolerance policies.

Since Monty's death in 2009, his father, Joe Merola, the owner of Bravo Packing, has taken over the shooting and slaughtering of horses.
