Here's Buttercup, AKA Butter Baby, visiting her pal, Jessie, in her rad, moped wheelchair!!! Jessie just had knee replacement surgery and said that Buttercup was her inspiration not to dope herself up on unnecessary painkillers during her recovery in the hospital.

Oh, and that nice couple is Jessie's parents, Ed and Jill Kuc, the owners of Hidden Creek Equestrian Center, the dressage show barn where Butter is convalescing. Ed and Jill adore Butter, spoiling her with hugs and ear scratches and delivering fresh carrots, apples and butterscotches to her daily.

Butterscotch loves living at Hidden Creek. It's a terrific environment for her because all the boarders and kids there adore Butter and want to see her make it through the rain.



Amanda goes to Hidden Creek twice daily, to warm hose and scrub Buttercup's cellulitic leg and to wrap her legs. Butter currently hotels in a huge foaling stall because she needs extra room for her recovery.

Gray Dapple TAP is so grateful to the Kuc family for opening their hearts and their barn to Buttercup, the miracle horse! With a huge stall full of windows and light and a gorgeous new paddock to graze in, Buttercup enjoys every day of her recovery at this spectacular barn!
